This is a track about being free from the structures, systems and practises that don't benefit us as humans. It is also about the challenges we face on that journey to freedom individually and collectively.

It was produced in music production lessons with music production teacher Zaflon. This was part of year of learning with Developing Your Creative Practise (DYCP with Arts Council England).

I really enjoyed learning more about programming synths and bass and how to arrange an arrangement in logic, how to vary things over time and to take people on a journey rather than just repeat loops. I also put a mixture of personal and social justice lyrics into this track. I find i often focus on social issues as a poet and it is good to include some personal reflection too and make space for that. Hope you enjoy the track.
